This project completed for USD 475 involved the renovation of theWestwood Elementary School. The asbestos floor tile had to be abated and new floor covering installed. All walls were painted with the library receiving carpet on the walls. New cabinets, counter tops and entry doors and hardware were also installed. Several classrooms also had new ceilings installed. The electricians installed new lighting throughout the building. The mechanical contractor installed a new cooling system above the office area and installed various new plumbing fixtures in the building. Outside a new entrance canopy with signs as well as new concrete walks and stairs were installed.
